Endless Screaming …

Dear parents,

I would like to give you some loving tips on how to deal with the tears and crying of your little treasure:

  • Provide security for your child: In moments of crying, it is important that you remain calm and convey a sense of security to your child. Your composure can help your child feel safe and secure.

  • Observe and understand: Every cry has a message. Try to understand your child's needs. Perhaps they are hungry, tired, or simply longing for your closeness.

  • Show compassion and closeness: In these moments, your child needs your loving understanding. Embrace it gently, stroke its back, and soothe it with gentle words. Your closeness can work wonders.

  • Distract your child's interest: Sometimes a new activity or a favorite toy can help your child stop crying. Distraction can often work wonders.

  • Be patient and persistent: Every child needs time to calm down. Be patient and show your child that you are there for them, no matter how long it takes.

  • Seek professional help if needed: If the crying persists or you feel overwhelmed, do not hesitate to ask for help. Midwives and pediatricians are there to assist you with advice and support.

  • Give your child time to discover new things: Remember that your child is just discovering the world. Introduce new experiences slowly to avoid overwhelming your child.

  • Remember that children do not cry for no reason: Every cry from your child is an expression of their needs and emotions. Listen to their crying and try to understand what they are trying to tell you.

With kind regards and much patience,

Caroline
